Rev. Brown and Malik Rahim asked the GNOGP to endorse their campaigns
for Mayor and Council At-Large, respectively. Steve, DJ, and Jason met
with the two the previous Friday to ask some questions about their
positions on key issues such as education, environment and affordable
housing. That committee recommended endorsing Malik, but not endorsing
Rev. Brown for Mayor. The committee did suggest endorsing Rev. Brown if
he were to run for a district council seat.

After about 15 minutes of questions to Malik, the group voted
unanimously to endorse his campaign. A volunteer list was circulated and
collected by Jason. A meeting for volunteers was scheduled for Sunday,
November 18th 5PM @ GNOGP office. Call Jason for info 909-2837

website, and to have Bart Everson the official webmaster.
