	- hat passed: $21.25
III. Old business
	- showing of commercial (Danny Allen)
	- discussion: legality of sponsorship; nothing can be done about it now -- 
		just make sure we as a Party don't make the same mistake
	- motion to continue with agenda: carries
	- endorsement of proposed amendments to LA Constitution:
		a.  endorsement of Amendment I (Louisiana Inc.):
			- too much power to Governor;
			* motion to endorse proposal b & c and against
			>>(friendly amendment) to oppose a and take no postition on b & c;
			>>(friendly amendment) to oppose proposal a (Louisiana, Inc.)
			13; one abstainer; passed
			* motion to table proposals b/c until (11/5); motion withdrawn 
				(added to end of agenda
	- office space:
		space available (six month renewable lease [$450/mo.; utilities approx 
			$70; phone $150]; no deposit)
			*motion to keep the space; withdrawn
			do we need a space; space gives central focus and substantiablty; 
			who will sign the lease; no enough
			*motion to table discussion until next meeting (at which Tonya will report
				on phone costs)

	- campaign report: Tonya
		- encourages letters to editior, canvassing, public events
		- John: we need literature to speak specifically to New Orleans' 
			communities (racism, war on drugs)
		- Jason agrees to create flyers
			* motion to empower Jason work with John to create flyer 
				for Green Party that could be used in the Nader 2000 
				campaign; motion carries
 IV. New Business
	- discussion re: pre-meeting calls to membership
	Election Night Parties:
		* motion to defer issue of election-day parties to Campaign Committee; 
		11, 1 abstaining:   carries
		T Shirts: wait until next meeting; Girard will bring t-shirt design 
			to vote on
	Refreshments for Press Conference:
		6PM, 10/30: move to authorize up to $50 for refreshments; carries
	Canvassing at Armstrong Park VooDooFest: (12PM -7PM, 10/31)
	***Revistiation of LA Const. Amendments:
		- BR Greens endorse of amendments b and c;
		- CLU endorse b and c
		- motion to endorse proposals b and c; 6; 1; 1; carries
